Top 25 USA colleges for Chinese students

Why are Chinese students so important?

Data released by the USA Institute of International Education (IIE) that showed for the 2014-2015 academic year more than 304,000 Chinese students were enrolled in U.S. colleges and universities and noted that this is a five-fold increase in student numbers from a decade ago.

Providing quality and affordable education for Chinese students has benefits for the entire local region. As well as generating valuable educational export income for the USA (worth an estimated USD$15 Billion annually) the ongoing benefits are generating regional interest "back home." Chinese parents will often visit their son or daughter with relatives tagging along whom then happily attending (and spending at) local tourism destinations as part of the visit. These engagements also can further lead to investments in property and other business sectors as alumni return home.
